English classes can be very productive.
While we were studying King Lear, I - who had by this stage read the play back to front and knew more passages than I'd care to admit off by heart - sat at the back of the room, as I usually did. Everybody else was arguing with one another about whether or not Cordelia was reasonable with Lear, how Edmund justified his betrayals, and whether Regan and Goneril deserved to die, and I drew this.
